Griffith Park Observatory is a beloved icon of Los Angeles and a world leader in public astronomy. Tens of millions of visitors have been given the opportunity to become observers of the universe. The observatory is open to the public on a regular schedule, but you must have a reservation. Reservations may be obtained through the website, by phone or in person at the Griffith Reservation Center.
